Thanks Mark. Long story about how I came up with the idea for the project, but in-terms of how I made them, the base of these are alcohol ink paintings. I make them in batches so I have options once I find something I want to shoot. I shoot two nearly identical Polaroid photos and use those for the emulsion lifts (one flipped) and mount them onto the ink paintings. The alcohol ink is used because it is waterproof. Then I scan them once they are dry.
