It has been a strange year for snowfall where I live. Usually, there is some snow for my early December birthday, but not this year. Christmas was accompanied by rain and gloom. While there has been some sporadic snow here and there, it quickly melts. Although I don’t miss shoveling, I do love the way snow changes the landscape. These photos from earlier in the week seem to convey a certain mood, perhaps a hint of sadness for what’s missing.
As I write this and look out the window, the ground is completely covered in white. It appears that we received a couple of inches overnight. As soon as I click 'send,' I'll be grabbing the shovel to clear the driveway and then heading out for a walk with my camera. Thanks for taking a look.
Lovely photos... Snow will be here in my little coastal Massachusetts town tonight.
