This is my busy time of year for client work, so I have not spent much time shooting photos for myself lately. However, I’m trying to find any opportunities I can between jobs. My most recent work shoot involved a road trip across North Dakota, and whenever I was in the passenger seat or whenever we stopped, I looked for things to shoot.
While going through my shots on the way home, I remembered seeing work on Xavi Buendia’s excellent Xavografica (be sure to check it out), which employed Aerochrome simulations to achieve the look of the famous infrared film. I recalled that I had several Aerochrome simulations from years ago when I bought some RNI film simulations. After a bit of experimentation, this is what I came up with. I love playing and getting a little wacky with my photography. Thanks for looking.
So beautiful and fascinating! The “Full moon pond” image is my favorite!! Great experimentation!
Ah cool 👌I had a look at the RNI website and saw they have a demo download available that has the Aerochrome 16 LUT for Capture1. Think I gonna have a look in my catalog for some photo's to 'convert' myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
