A couple posts ago I shared some pics from my garage. I headed out there to try to get some new shots right after I published that post, but nothing really planned out.
Last night I decided to give it another try. With no real idea of what I was going to do, I grabbed a cheap shop light, attached it to a table, and grabbed some random things laying around to see what I could come up with. Here are those shots. I’ve been trying to find compositions in places I would normally ignore lately, which is challenging, but also a lot of fun.
When I was really into shooting landscapes, I would get so caught up in “the scene,” that I would miss a lot of cool, smaller compositions. Slowing down, taking a deep breath, and being present can have a big payout when it comes to photography. Life too. I hope you like these. All shot on a Fuji X-T30 II, mostly SOOC with a few slight adjustments to highlights and shadows.
