I've been continuing to enjoy night walks lately. It's so peaceful. I've been taking my little Ricoh with me and made the theme for the week “double exposures.”
The camera struggles to focus in such low light, but it's fun to embrace that. I love not knowing what's going to happen and the anticipation of seeing how the images will combine on the little screen. I love letting the shutter drag a bit, and whipping the camera around… it's all good fun.
Our son was staying with grandparents for part of the week, so I was able to take a few of these walks with my beautiful wife.
My favorite parts of photography are when it feels like magic. Longer exposures, multiple exposures, little phenomena that I don't understand that makes a picture feel a little more special. Those moments make me feel like a little kid. Thanks for looking.
Some really great results there.
These are great, Dan. Well done!
